Through the Wall Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner Heat Pumps Provide Zoned Cooling & Heating Solution
Klimaire Package Terminal Air Conditioner (PTAC) and Heat Pump (PTHP) units are designed to provide year-round comfort in hotel, motel, office buildings, nursing homes, classrooms, apartments, dormitories, and hospitals. PTAC's are conveniently installed on an interior wall with the back of the unit vented to the exterior. No ducting is required. Klimaire's PTAC and PTHP's are built to the industry standard 42 inch width and fit standard 16 inch existing wall sleeves.
PTHP’s provide energy-efficient heating and cooling using reverse cycle technology. Cooling capacity is 14,700 BTU and heat pump heating capacity is 13,500 BTU. The included electric auxiliary 3.5 kW (15,000 BTU) heat strip is supplemental and only needs to be used when the outside temperature drops too low for the heat pump to provide energy-efficient heating. This is generally only a few days out of the year. For most of the heating season, the energy efficient heat pump provides sufficient heating using about 1/3 the electric power required by standard electric heating.
This Klimaire 15,000 BTU package Terminal Heat Pump PTHP is a complete system including the electric heat strip. Optional recommended wall sleeve and sleeve grill are available.

Every Klimaire PTAC unit is built with an LED lit easy push button control panel for the selection of heating or cooling mode, fan-only mode and precise temperature adjustment. Fresh air intake design and the washable polypropylene air filter ensure indoor air quality. The large diameter indoor tangential fan wheel and dual motor configuration contribute to low operational noise and uniform airflow.

Can detect human motion within 25-foot radius and control the operation of an air-conditioner according to the presence of human motion and can be programmed to turn the air-conditioner off completely or have the setting temperature increased to a desired setting for incredible energy savings.
