Direct Comfort DC‐ASPT47D14 air handler comes with a host of adaptable features: multiple airflow positions; it’s suitable for horizontal, vertical, upflow or downflow installation; and it comes with several electrical knockouts to fit a variety of room layouts. But that’s not nearly its only advantage. The ECM multi‐speed motor allows for more precise climate control and eliminates hot and cold spots in rooms that is often experienced with standard on/off units. Instead of simply turning off once the desired temperature is reached, your unit’s blower speed can be reduced to match the cooling or heating needed to maintain the desired temperature.
